What to give my friends at the end of the year besides good wishes? Gifts needed to be simple, beautiful, cheap, meaningful, as possible handmade (by me) and of course useful. So I illustrated plain white mugs and made mix of cereals - cause breakfast is healthy! :)

CALENDAR for brass band Laško

A friend asked me if I'm willing to design a calendar for brass band, he is playing with. And this came out. Unfortunately my design was not picked for print, cause their usual designer came along with more usable calender design.

I just love MollyMoo :D and while going trough her huge amount of craft ideas I found fairies! And it was a must to do one or two or a whole group :P. 
I like them so much that we were making them also at creative workshop for kids after listening a story about a fairy.

Next year we'll host another big international fishing event - WC for Nations. We're expecting about 40 teams from all over the world (ok, from Europe and maybe from Republic of South Africa). Because our fishing venue is too short for so many competitors, competition will also take place in nearby Sevnica.

It all started 60 years ago...

First things first, our logo Zvezdica Zaspanka (this is a character form a fairy tail about a little star that always oversleeps to work) needed a little remake (I digitalized logo in 2010, result is so so due to my knowledge and experience in design that time).

In start of September we had award giving ceremony and such an event needs suitable invitations...

...and suitable diplomas.

We also prepared photo exhibition, I chose photos, prepared carton backgrounds, hanging positions and other members gave me a hand with it (tnx everbody :)). Exhibition took place in cafe Caffe Galeria in Radeče, from mid of October to start of December.

Of course we prepared birthday celebration for kids with huge cake :). Posters were the best thing to invite as much people as possible at once.

DIY: SUMMER CRAFTS for kids

Summer boredom... not any more! :) as every year our summer creative workshops in August were really well attended, cause kids get bored of playing computer games, all friends are at the sea side, books are not interesting, etc., so this year we prepared something different. From the middle of July every Monday we prepared few summer or holiday themed books in library and every Wednesday a craft project. Which were in my domain. Instructions were posted on FB and kids needed to post photos of their creations and the three of them with most likes got rewards.
