POSTER for 8th February - Slovenian day of culture

Library (department Radeče) was an organizer of celebration for Slovenian day of culture* (also Prešeren day). And for poster what can go better with culture than books. Into headline is incorporated silhouette of poet France Prešeren (author of Slovenian anthem, 8th February is anniversary of his death). In size 50 x 70 cm.

This year we dressed into black and yellow striped bees. With poster design I try to give a hint to visitors in what we'll be dressed each year. Poster in size 50 x 70 cm.

LOGO for International cup Radeče 2016

Cause this year we don't host any of the World Championships, we decided that we'll organize international competition named International cup Radeče, which will become traditional. Logo is synthesis of Fishing club Radeče's logo and logo of competition called Pokal Sava (Sava Cup).

What can library do when people ''forget'' to come and read? Solution - advertising of course. We prepared several different types, dedicated to different groups of potential members. All posters contain basic information (location, working hours, phone numbers, e-mails) and also important information for each group. 9 types in size 50 x 70 cm.

Birthday invitations

my mum/ August 2015

My mum celebrated her 50th birthday and I designed invitations.
In size 16,5 x 16,5 cm on beige-golden paper and matching envelopes.

Quail egg packaging design

Janez has a flock of 16 quails. When he gave me a pack of eggs, I instantly got an image in my head how to design packaging. Egg box label contains all vital information, including nutrition values and a recipe. It's printed on eco paper.

This year's poster does not reveal what we will be dressed in, simply because I suck at drawing people... it was easier to draw bunch of masked characters.

Base was pencil drawing, then I draw outlines with black ballpen, scaned them and colored them in Photoshop.

Because last year I got some complaints that the poster's headline is not visible enough, this year's design is based on a huge headline.

DIY: Christmas/New Year's PRESENTS

What to give my friends at the end of the year besides good wishes? Gifts needed to be simple, beautiful, cheap, meaningful, as possible handmade (by me) and of course useful. So I illustrated plain white mugs and made mix of cereals - cause breakfast is healthy! :)

CALENDAR for brass band Laško

A friend asked me if I'm willing to design a calendar for brass band, he is playing with. And this came out. Unfortunately my design was not picked for print, cause their usual designer came along with more usable calender design.

LOGO for 62nd WC coarse angling for Nations 2015

Next year we'll host another big international fishing event - WC for Nations. We're expecting about 40 teams from all over the world (ok, from Europe and maybe from Republic of South Africa). Because our fishing venue is too short for so many competitors, competition will also take place in nearby Sevnica.

It all started 60 years ago...

First things first, our logo Zvezdica Zaspanka (this is a character form a fairy tail about a little star that always oversleeps to work) needed a little remake (I digitalized logo in 2010, result is so so due to my knowledge and experience in design that time).

In start of September we had award giving ceremony and such an event needs suitable invitations...

We also prepared photo exhibition, I chose photos, prepared carton backgrounds, hanging positions and other members gave me a hand with it (tnx everbody :)). Exhibition took place in cafe Caffe Galeria in Radeče, from mid of October to start of December.

Of course we prepared birthday celebration for kids with huge cake :). Posters were the best thing to invite as much people as possible at once.
