WINESCAPES taste some, Slovenia 2011
ELASA (European landscape architecture student association)/ organizer/ March 2011
Organizing a student mini meeting was a lot of fun and a bit stressful (cause we started too late). My job was to design a web page for Winescapes. I succeeded with help of computer science engineer Boštjan Cigan and landscape architect Guntis Ratkevics (in charge for web staff at ELASA). Page lasted for a year but it's possible to see a draft here. I also had to provide sketch books cause main thing on mini meeting was discovering diverse Slovenian landscape through sketch.

graduation thesis: POTENCIAL ŠMARTINSKEGA JEZERA ZA RAZVOJ DODATNIH PROGRAMOV
(''Potential of Šmartinsko lake for developing additional programs'')
University of Ljubljana/ Biotechnical faculty/ Department for landscape architecture/ 21st of October 2010
Šmartinsko lake is the lake of the artificial origin built almost 40 years ago to fulfill the needs of the developing industry of Celje. It had never served its initial purpose, yet, because of the regulation of the watercourses, the city got the opportunity for expansion. The lack of utilization of the lake and its surroundings created a natural look of the lake, and in recent years it became a point of interest for the development of tourism and leisure activities. A very comprehensive proposal for the use of the lake was created, including some radical schemes, which could have negative influence on those features that make the lake so interesting for the visitors in the first place. Graduation thesis presents a proposal more acceptable from the point of carrying capacity of the area. Three areas of design intervention were chosen, offering visitors an opportunity to spend most of their time at the lake. Central feature is a circular walking path around the lake, connecting all other activity areas and points – cycling paths, running path, eco trail, fishing zone, picnic areas, viewing tower, bird watching section. One can row or sail on the lake, or play a game of golf at near Prešnik castle estate. First of the three places, considered in detail, is a natural swimming area in the bay near Runtole village, the second is a big picnic place north-west of the fishing lodge and the third an aquatic garden near Loče village as an additional program, contrasting dominating sport activities.
